Sensors, Probes, Thermowells, and Assemblies
Accutech offers a full array of temperature measurement sensors, probes, thermowells, enclosures and assemblies that are particularly well suited for industrial installations.
RTD Sensors
Platinum resistance temperature detectors are available in a variety of precision grades, lengths and diameters for direct insertion or for thermowell installation. Interchangeability tolerances from ±0.1% to ±0.01% are available. Accutech will perform individual probe calibration for extremely demanding installations.
Thermocouple Sensors
Thermocouple probes are available in two accuracy grades and a variety of sizes.
Thermowells
We stock a variety of thermowells up to 12" insertion length. Wells are used in the vast majority of industrial applications where it may be desirable to remove the sensor at some point in time. We recommend spring-loaded probe sensors for use with the wells to ensure good thermal contact between the sensor and the well.
Housings
The small size of the Accutech transmitters makes them extremely versatile and easy to mount. We stock both weatherproof and explosion-proof enclosures that may be combined with sensors, transmitters and/or thermowells for complete measurement assemblies. For panel mounting, gang enclosures and DIN rail clips are also available.
Bayonet Fittings
The Bayonet fitting is a unique Accutech feature to facilitate rapid sensor removal. This fitting may be used with weatherproof or explosion-proof installations. It is particularly applicable for chilled water temperature measurement in large-scale facilities. Sensors may be removed and reinstalled without tools, wrenches, galled threads or bruised knuckles.
